Bakhodirova Aslzoda (1st place) and Korsuntseva Polina (3rd place) won prizes in French at the Republican stage of the main subject Olympiad!!!

Sotimkulov Izzat, a student of the academic lyceum WIUT, took 2nd place in computer science at the Republican stage of the subject Olympiad.

In the Academic Lyceum of the WIUT, within the framework of the month of the department "Exact and natural sciences", an entertaining game "Club of Cheerful and Resourceful" was held, the participants of which were first-year students.

7 groups took part in CCR, from which 6 participants were selected.

The winners of the game were the teams with the most points.

Thus:

1st place was taken by the 1UzG1 team with 265 points;
2nd place was taken by the 1RuG2 team with 207 points;
3rd place was taken by the 1RuG7 team with 204 points.

The Republican stage of the main Olympiad will continue.

Today, the republican stage of the Main Olympiad started in the subjects of mathematics, informatics and information technologies, English, French, and German in Tashkent, and in the subjects of chemistry, biology, and physics in Bukhara.

336 students who took the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places among the 11th grade students in the III (regional) stage of the main science Olympiad are taking part in this Olympiad. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 562, the students who won the prize according to the results of the Olympiad will receive cash prizes and the privilege of being awarded the maximum score in the entrance exams of higher education institutions in the subject of the prize. The teachers of the winners will be awarded with one-time cash prizes in the amount of 50, 35, 30 times BHM (16.5 million, 11.55 million, 9.9 million), respectively.

Faizullayeva Zilola from academic lyceum WIUT is participating in this competition in the field of Uzbek language.

On April 25, 2023, at the Academic Lyceum of the WIUT, within the framework of the month of the Exact and Natural Sciences department, an intellectual game of "Brain ring" was held, the participants of which were second-year students.

8 groups took part in the brain ring, of which 6 participants were selected.

Each group defended its honor.

In total, 8 teams participated, 48 students.

The intellectual game consisted of 30 questions of varying degrees of difficulty.

The winners of the game were the teams with the most points.

Thus,

1st place - team 2Rug2,

2nd place - team 2Rug1,

3rd place - team 2Rug5.

The three winning teams received certificates of commendation.

The rest of the teams were also awarded certificates of honor in various nominations.

Today in the academic lyceum a mathematical game "5*5" was held, organized by the teacher of mathematics N.G. Grigorieva within the framework of the week "Exact and natural sciences".

The game was attended by 3 teams from the academic lyceum at the branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent, 2 teams from the academic lyceum at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent and 3 teams from our academic lyceum.

The game was held in several stages in a friendly atmosphere.

According to the results of the game, the 3rd place was taken by the team of the academic lyceum at the branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent, the 2nd place was taken by the team of the 1RuG2 group and the 1st place was taken by the team of the 1RuG3 group.

The World Scholar's Cup, an international team academic program in which more than 15,000 students from more than 65 countries annually take part, was finally held on April 14-15 after a three-year break in Tashkent.

Our students decided not to miss such a great opportunity.

For two days, the students of ALWIUT, Bakhodirova Aslzoda, and Karamatov Sadulla competed with their peers from the best educational institutions in our country, such as TIS, BST, the Erudite School, and others.

On the first day, they showed their skills in team debate, collaborative writing, and the scholar's challenge; on the second day, they participated in the scholar's bowl.

It should be noted that Aslzoda and Sadulla prepared for this event for a long time, having read several dozen articles in various directions that were based on all the analogous and logical questions of the four sections.

Their efforts really paid off.

Their team received two gold cups for the championship in two sections as well as a gold cup as the winning team with the highest results.

Aslzoda Bakhodirova, in turn, became the best participant among 100 participants and got the fourth cup.

In total, our students have earned more than thirty gold medals for the championship in various categories.

On April 8, 2023, the final stage of the project "iDare 2023" organized by the Academic Lyceum of WIUT, took place at the Agency for Youth Affairs.

The students of various educational settings including the Academic Lyceum of WIUT, International House Tashkent Lyceum, Al-Khorazmi International School, School №5, School №273, Cambridge International College in Tashkent, State Profession-occupational school and others participated in this project with their incredible speeches.

The main goal of this project was to increase the public speaking and professional presentation skills of the students.

During the event, overall, 18 participants provided their presentations on various topics.

The judges evaluated the participants' performances based on the criteria including choice of topic; accuracy and fluency of speech; organization of speech; interaction with the audience; self-confidence, and designing professional slides.

At the end of the event, the following students were announced as the winners of the project:

1st place - Akbarova Zumradkhon - Al-Khorazmi International School
2nd place - Abdumuminov Sarvarbek - State Profession-occupational school
3rd place – Artikova Diyora – Academic lyceum of WIUT
At the end of the event, certificates and prizes were awarded to the winners and participants.

On April 11, 2023, an open spirituality lesson on the topic "Navruz" was held at the academic lyceum.

The lesson was held in the group 1RuG6 with the curator of the group M.Sh.Zaripova.

At the lesson, students talked about the history of the emergence of the Navruz holiday.

The participants were introduced to the national dishes that are being prepared for this holiday.

Students demonstrated national games.

All students actively participated and a quiz was held at the end of the lesson.
