Today we call them mentors, teachers. This holiday is dedicated to all those who invested knowledge and skills into us, helped with advice and life experience.

In Uzbekistan, Teachers and Mentors Day is celebrated on October 1, and on the eve of the holiday, events are actively held in educational institutions.

On September 28, 2023, a large program was also organized at AL WIUT, where the bright performances of students, the emotional videos they prepared, and the fun interactive experience left an unforgettable impression on their favorite teachers.

When you are tired of homework, solving problems, writing essays and preparing for tests, sports come to your rescue. And not a single Vestovite will miss the chance to play football, basketball or volleyball. After all, team play gives so many skills and emotions!

From September 11 to 16, the lyceum hosted a volleyball championship, where 16 teams took part.

After a series of interesting games, teams 2rug2 and 1rug2 reached the final.

In 2023, group 2 RUG2 became the winner of the autumn volleyball championship.

On September 28, the “Khan Atlas” costume festival was organized at AL WIUT in order to popularize national costumes and improve the clothing culture of young people.

The event was attended by the leadership of the lyceum, teachers, and students, who with great pleasure demonstrated the extraordinary variety of costumes made from this iconic fabric of the East.

Speakers at the festival emphasized that the national customs of the Uzbek people, the culture of clothing, national adras and atlas have a deep history, and modern youth must preserve, enhance and popularize such values.

It was the "Khan Atlas" Festival that became one of such beautiful and useful events.

On September 22, the academic lyceum AL WIUT hosted the intellectual game “Zakovat”, which is held among young students every week on certain days.

The main goal of the intellectual game “Zakovat” is to meaningfully organize students’ free time, create a friendly atmosphere, increase their intellectual potential, and develop the ability to

work in a team.

27 teams registered for the intellectual game “Zakovat” through the Google platform.

The first 6 teams took part in the 1st stage tournament: Revenge, Aristocarts, Phoenix, Friends of Miraziz, Future, Quizium and Friends of Miraziz - they took first place and advanced to the

next stage.

On September 5, 2023, the traditional sports relay race “First Race” was organized to test the physical fitness of first-year students, teach them how to interact in a team, train and promote a healthy lifestyle among them.

7 groups took part in the relay, and as a result the following groups were able to take prizes:

1st place: 1 RUG2/1RUG3

2nd place: 1 RUG4

3rd place: 1 UZG1

On the first day, introductory adaptation events were organized as part of the traditional “INDACTION DAY” project.
