The next musical competition of the West FM circle attracted a large audience this time. The group NKO (Friends of Mizaziz) won in an interesting game where 15 teams participated.

9 - May - Day of Remembrance and Appreciation was solemnly celebrated at Academic Lyceum of WIUT. It was recognized that the contribution of the people of Uzbekistan to the victory over fascism in the Second World War, the courage of their brave men, and the incomparable fortitude behind the front lines will always be in the memory of generations. On the eve of this holiday, the 130th anniversary of the birth of Abdulla Qadiri, the hero of our nation, the great enlightener of the nation, and the great enlightener writer, is widely celebrated throughout our country. Grandchildren of the writer, literary scholars, and journalists also took part in the commemorative night. The performance presented by the students,showed of the writer's hard life and creative path and it made a great impression on everyone.

Meet the new ALWIUT Students’ Union members for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Students of our academy once again demonstrated their talents. This time, the most famous fairy tales were presented in German. Students were able to make a great impression on everyone with their ability to speak German fluently and their acting skills. Distinguished guests also attended the event: professor and the special diplomat translator of the Swiss Embassy, Khafiza Kochkarova, and Khamrokhanim Alimova, the responsible employee of the Goethe Institute in Tashkent. As contest judges, they gave high marks to the videos prepared by each group.

On April 23-24, the World scholar's cup was held between the leading educational institutions of Tashkent. Students had to go through several competitions including debates , collaborating writing , scholar's challenge and scholar’s bowl . Students of ALWIUT showcased their critical and logical thinking , argumentation and public speaking skills . Overall , the ALWIUT students proudly representing the lyceum won dozens of medals and trophies.

Students of the Academic Lyceum of WIUT actively participated in the 6th Tashkent International Marathon.

On April 19, an open class for partner schools in Japan and Mongolia was organized at academic lyceum of WIUT through the Zoom platform. In this open lesson, high school students gave information about how Navroz is celebrated in our country. The open lesson aroused such great interest among our partners that Mongolian students even tried to play the national game “Kim oladiyo, shuginaniyo?” themselves.

On April 16, a Grammar Quiz was held between the 1st courses at the academic lyceum of WIUT. Students were organized to compete in English grammar. 1Rug4 group became the winner of the competition.

13th April at the academic lyceum of WIUT Navrozi Olam, a traditional spring and renewal holiday celebrated with great pomp and joy. Lyceum students demonstrated the dances and customs of different nations and decorated beautiful festive tables.
