On May 23, 2022, a meeting was held at the Institute for Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research (IPMI) with students of the Academic Lyceum at Westminster International University in Tashkent (AL WIUT).

During the event, IPMI senior researcher Nazarov Odiljon acquainted students with the main activities of the Institute and with current research in the field of analyzing the prospects for economic growth and poverty reduction in Uzbekistan.

Project Manager Khayot Saidaliev held a master class on the topic "How is modern science developing? How to start research correctly?".
The students were shown the experience of applying theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems on the example of the settlement of Zhuraobod, Buka district, Tashkent region.

IPMI experts answered students' questions and had short scientific discussions with them.

On May 20, 2022, students and teachers of the AL WIUT visited the Alley of Writers in the National Park named after Alisher Navoi.

In order to further ideological and artistic enrichment of the Alley of Writers, new monuments were dedicated to the memory of such famous people as Bobur, Ogakhi, Berdak, Mukimi, Furkat, Behbudi, Avloni, Chulpan, Kadiri, Tolepbergen Kayipbergenov, Ibragim Yusupov, Alexander Fainberg.
Around the statue of Alisher Navoi, more than 20 statues of famous poets and writers are built into an integral architectural and artistic composition.

On May 18, 2022, the sports relay "Mom, dad and Me - the sports family" was held, dedicated to the International Family Day.
9 teams took part in the relay. The team included students' family members, class teachers and administration.

The relay race, which consisted of 7 exciting competitions, was full of excitement and impressions.

1st place - 1 RUG3

2nd place - 3 groups: 1 UZG1, 1 RUG7, 1 RUG 5

3rd place - 1RUG2

Such competitions can help improve relations between students and their parents, pupils and teachers, as well as promote sports in the family.

On May 9, Uzbekistan celebrates the Day of Memory and Honor, a holiday of bright sadness, reverent respect, pride and deep gratitude! On this day of the Great Victory, we wish everyone health, warmth, attention and care of loved ones, may every new day be peaceful!

The Academic Lyceum of Westminster International University in Tashkent hosted an event called "Eternal Memory - a Sacred Dignity" dedicated to the Day of Memory and Honor. The event was attended by Honored Artists of Uzbekistan Dilorom Karimova and Tokhir Saidov. 

The students were particularly impressed by the live interview with Dilorom Karimova and Tokhir Saidov, the main characters of the film Ilhak. The songs and creative numbers sounded during the event gave the participants a good mood.

According to the final results, the team included 4 students with the highest results. We wish our team great success!!!
