On October 6, 2022, a chess tournament began at AL WIUT. The tournament is held with the aim of developing interest in this sport, as well as developing the skills of logic and strategic thinking. 80 students took part in the 1st round. The competition was held in the reading room of AL WIUT among students of the 1st and 2nd year. Today the final games will take place and we will find out who the winner is.

On October 6, 2022, the math game "Five by Five" was held at Academic Lyceum of WIUT among first-year students.
The honorary places were taken by the following groups:
1st place - 1RUG1
2nd place - 1RUG5
3rd place - 1RUG3

Tashkent stage of the Zakovat tournament among students of secondary specialized and professional educational institutions has ended.
The following teams finished in the top three and advanced to the Republican stage of the tournament:

1st place - Academic Lyceum under University of World Economy and Diplomacy; 
2nd place - Academic Lyceum under Tashkent State Pedagogical University. Nizomi;
3rd place - Academic Lyceum of Westminster International University in Tashkent.

Yesterday, a long-awaited concert dedicated to Teacher's Day was held in our lyceum. For two weeks, the students were hard at work preparing for this day, they stayed after the couples at the rehearsal. And their efforts were not in vain, because the concert was held at the highest level. Songs, dances, poems, games, videos... Each student and teacher could feel this magical atmosphere of the holiday.
Teaching is one of the most respected and at the same time difficult professions. From year to year teachers of our lyceum try to give us the necessary knowledge in absolutely different fields of science. Each teacher is unique in their teaching and mentorship. I would like to note that our teachers are highly qualified and use a wide variety of teaching techniques so that students can freely and easily absorb certain knowledge.
