From May 31 to June 5, 2010, a week of the Russian Language and Literature was held in WIUT Lyceum. During the week the students of the lyceum visited the museum of the great Russian poet of the 20th century Sergey Yesenin. The museum was opened in June 1981 based on the collections donated by private citizens. In December 1988 the museum was awarded the status of a national museum. Many exhibits of the museum have a great historical value, and the students of the lyceum learned a lot of interesting facts about each of them from the director of the lyceum Golender Boris Anatolyevich. The visit made a profound impression on the students, who discovered a “new” Yesenin” for themselves.
