Due to the fact that under the Cabinet of Ministers #186 of July 21, 2011 "for admission to specialized secondary and professional educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the 2011/2012 academic year" and the State Commission for admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan test specialized secondary professional educational institutions of Tashkent is scheduled for July 15, 2011, the year following changes are made to the schedule of entrance examinations to the Academic Lyceum under WIUT:

1. For applicants who were to take exams on July 15, Friday at 8:00 - exams are carried on July 17, Sunday at 8:00.

2. For applicants who were to take exams on July 15, Friday at 14:00 - tests carried on July 16, Saturday, at 14:00.

3. For applicants who were to take exams on July 16, Saturday at 8:00 - date and time of examination remains unchanged.

On February 7 2011, students of WIUT Lyceum presented a show dedicated to Uzbek folklore. This show was organized as the result of the knowledge and skills the students gained during the literature lessons of the 1st term. During the show students performed such examples of Uzbek folklore as proverbs, riddles, folk songs, fairy tales, askiya and others. It was interesting for guests to watch performances “A Tale of Golden Watermelon”, “Khodja Nasreddin in a Farm”, a parody to the TV show “Groom and Bride”, and “A Song Calling One Hundred Points”. These performances were prepared and presented by students of Level 1 and Level 2 of the lyceum.
