The second Model UN (MU) in Tashkent was conducted on the 25th of February 2012 in Westminster International University in Tashkent. 15 teams representing one country took part in this conference, with 2 persons in each team. Each team presented interests and opinions of “their country” in MU. UN employees also took part in this conference, which shows the significance of the event. The topic of the conference was “7 billion people on earth – a problem or possibilities”.

On the 17th of January the first recital in Westminster Lyceum was performed by the famous lyceum rock band –“Flying Up”. This concert included a lot of decoration effects and the band replayed such renowned bands like “30 seconds to mars” , “Linkin Park”, “Metallica”, “Nirvana” and etc. Beside the famous songs, the band also performed songs of their own that brought our students to great applauds. As this year is Westminster University’s 10 year anniversary, this concert was also partly dedicated to the celebration of it. Special guests have also attended this event, adding also the administration of WIUT. Our lyceum, along with education, supports new talents, giving them a chance and an opportunity to express their skills and improve themselves.
