On December 24, 2011, students of WIUT Lyceum organised a concert devoted to New Year Holiday. On the stage decorated with a traditional Christmas tree and garlands, students performed songs and dances of different nations. The concert was wrapped up with the song “Happy New Year” of ABBA group, and the participants congratulated everybody with the coming holidays and wished them a happy new year.

On October 21, 2011, in WIUT Lyceum a literary evening dedicated to the 22 th anniversary of the enactment of the State Language. All students of Uzbek and Russian groups of the Lyceum attended the evening. The evening was opened with incendiary "Andijan polka." Also, students organized an Uzbek fashion show titled "Uzbek Top Model", sang Uzbek pop and folk songs, and performed classical and modern dances. A song Motherland on the verses of the national poet Muhammad Yusuf concluded the evening. Students of different nationalities once again demonstrated their respect and love for the state language of our country - the Uzbek language.
